Biography
Many of those who saw him play maintain that Teo Țarălungă was one of the finest wingers in Romanian football. He came to Universitatea in 1970, persuaded by his good friend Ion Oblemenco, and instantly became one of the idols of the Oltenian stands. He was a champion with Universitatea in 1974 and played three times for the national team.
